Reading time: 2 – 2 minutes
Yesterday I stumbled on fellow blogger Sami May’s site and her post on advice she would have given herself when she turned 21 inspired my thoughts for you today.
If life’s a journey, there’s lots you pick up along the way, good or bad.
And if you had to do it over, you’d have an easier time than someone who’s not been down that path before or who is having a difficult time finding their way.
So as you think about what you now know about life and about yourself…
Imagine what would you say to your younger self back then?
See, your experience makes you a good mentor, and one with special powers… because you have the benefit of hindsight.
And so why not enjoy mentoring yourself a bit?
Now imagine what advice and important life lessons would you share…
Often we are our own worst critics (I know I am), so instead of being so hard on yourself, just go easy. Cut yourself a bit of slack.
It’s a good time to sit back and relax because this could take a while.
There are lots of rich bits of useful knowledge for you to share. Which ones will you choose that can make a huge difference in the quality of your life?
Think of a few words of wisdom that would dramatically change your results.
Love to hear your thoughts in the comments.
Ciao!
Taylor
P.S. – Quick note for anyone who wants to know, self mentoring is just one way to change your life and even though we didn’t get into it in detail here, it’s one of the things you can learn in great depth in my upcoming interactive mentoring program. Learn more about it here:

Did I leave anything out?

Thanks for the shout out Taylor!
